Troops of the Ranaviru Apparel learnt more on ‘Fire-fighting’ during a workshop conducted by representative of "Ongurd Fire Protection Service" , held at RVAPL camp premises on 19 March 2019, under the supervision and instruction of Commandant - RVAPL, Major General Manjula Manathunga.

The lecture and practical session on fire-fighting conducted by Mr. K.C. Milroy Pathirana , representative of "Ongurd Fire Protection Service" refreshed the knowledge of the attendees on importance of fire control and the usage of different types of fire extinguishers. In order to refresh procedures, related to emergency fire-fighting, a team of fire-fighters of RVAPL held a fire-fighting demonstration during the same program.

Deputy Commandant together with senior officers, officers and more than 100 other ranks serving in the RVAPL were participated for the training program.
