The newly-appointed Commandant, Ranaviru Apparel, Brigadier M A Izadeen assumed duties as the 6th Commandant on 29th October 2020 at the Ranaviru Apparel (RVAPL) factory in Yakkala.

He was honored by Ranaviru Apparel Troops on arrival in a colorful Guard Turnout in accordance with the military tradition, before he signed an official document to symbolize the assumption of duties.

The newly-appointed Commandant Brigadier M A Izadeen succeeded Major General Shantha Rajakaruna.
