Combat Convoy Company Pre-Deployment Course No - 3 for MINUSMA (United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali) was commenced on 11 August 2020. The course consists with 300 students (26 x Officers and 304 x ORs) representing various regiments.

The course has designed to provide a basic knowledge on practical and theoretical aspects of United Nations. The main objective of this training capsule is to offer a brief awareness about the relevant host country, it’s location, surroundings, climate, culture and specially the duties and responsibilities which belongs to them according to the mandate. And also to perform the tasks proficiently and effectively in liaison with various HQs and contingents in the mission environment. The opening remarks was delivered by Brigadier RADS Shantha Ranaweera RWP RSP USP psc the Commandant of Institute of Peace Support Operations Training Sri Lanka.
