South Sudan Level II Hospital Component Pre-Deployment Training Course No – 8 was commenced on 27 January 2020 and successfully terminated on 25 February 2020. The course was consisted with 54 students (08 x Officers and 46 x ORs).

The course has designed to provide a basic knowledge on practical and theoretical aspects of United Nations. The main objective of this training capsule is to offer a brief awareness about the relevant foreign countries, locations, surroundings, climates, cultures and specially the duties and responsibilities which belongs to them according to the mandate. And also to perform the tasks proficiently and effectively in liaison with various HQs and contingents in UN missions. The closing remark was delivered by Lieutenant Colonel R A Samaranayake USP psc SLLI the Chief Instructor of IPSOTSL.
