Whist executing the brainchild of Mrs Ruvini Lamahewa the president Seva Vanitha branch of the Gemunu Watch, A program of donation was held at the Regimental Centre on 30th July 2022. With the day’s program, following families and soldiers were facilitated by scholarships, gift packs and dry ration packs.
1. Children of Late Capt HGB Kumara RWP RSP were facilitated with Scholarships of 5000.00 x 12 Months and 3x Gift packs.
2. Children of Late Capt HAJU Kumara were facilitated with Scholarships of 100000.00 and 3x Gift packs.
3. 100 x soldiers of the Gemunu Watch were facilitated with Dry-ration packs worth of around Rs 6000.00 each.
The President of the Gemunu Watch Seva Vanitha Branch Mrs Ruvini Lamahewa and members of Seva Vanitha branch the Gemunu Watch, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks also participated in the event.
