Regiment of The Gemunu Watch became the champions of the 21st Inter Regiment Novices Athletics meet - 2022 held on 29 and 30 July 2022 at Diyagama Mahinda Rajapaksha Stadium. Athletes of The Gemunu Watch were able to secure 7 Gold medals, 2 Silver medals and 11 Bronze medals and also kept a new meet record as well.
Awards Ceremony of the said meet was held on 04th August 2022 at Diyagama stadium where Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage, the Commander of the Army graced as the Chief Guest, of the occasion.
