The Gemunu Watch Seva Vanitha Branch president Mrs. Anusha Fernanndo and the members visited Peter Weerasekara Childrens Home at Yakkala as per their annual program of the Gemunu Seva Vanitha Branch.
During the visit, the president and the members of Gemunu Seva Vanitha Branch spent the time with approximately 79 children who are living at the orphanage and had a joyful afternoon with them. Hon president and the members of Seva Vanitha Branch distributed many gifts including towel racks, baby racks, cloths, sanitary items, stationaries, medicines and milk powder to the children who were waiting for gifts.
In addition, it was organized an entertainment even with Highlanders Calypso team to entertain all gathered there. At the end, the Gemunu Watch Seva Vanitha Branch had arranged a delicious lunch for the children and the event was successfully conducted making all kids happy. The guardian members extended their gratitude to Gemunu Watch Seva Vanitha Branch for all the effort to made the event success.
