A lecture on subjected matter was held on 6 March 2018 at the Regiment Centre. It was conducted by Professor Piyal Marasinghe (Adviser Medicinal Plants Cultivation, Medical Plants Scientists of Associate Professor Adviser Provincial Ministry of Health and Indigenous Medicine Uva Province) on the invitation of Centre Commandant of the Gemunu Watch. The session was basically organized to educate Army personnel on importance of cultivation, protection and maintenances of local Medicinal plants . The guest speaker emphasized the values and benefits of maintaining a garden of Medicinal plants and shared his invaluable knowledge on local Medicinal Plants during the lecture, 10 Officers and 25 Other Ranks were present for the session .
