A team consisting of 62 Officer Cadets of Intake 85 and 86 presently under training at the Sri Lanka Military Academy (SLMA) Diyatalawa visited Regimental Centre the Gemunu Watch on 3 March 2018 as per the course curriculum of the SLMA in order to gain broader knowledge on history, roles and tasks and functions of regimental headquarter. On behalf of Colonel of the Regiment and all ranks of the Gemunu Watch, Deputy Centre Commandant warmly welcome Officer Cadets and Instructors to the Regimental Centre and a presentation on function of the Regimental Centre including history, role and task was conducted by General Staff Officer 1.
Further, floral tribute was taken place at the Monument to remember all fallen War Heroes as a mark to respect their sacrifice. They were also taken to important places such as Monument premises and the Museum. Then the Officer Cadets were accompanied to tea at the Officers’ Mess and the lunch was organized at the Pool Site of the Regimental Centre
