INTER REGIMENT PARA SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIP END WITH NEW HOPES TO HIGHLANDERS
The Army Inter Regiment Para Swimming Championship was held on a grand scale at The Gemunu Watch Swimming Pool at Kuruwita on 1st and 2nd September 2013, Major General LBR Mark RSP USP ndu the Colonel of the Regiment was the Chief Guest.
Disabled soldiers from 11 Regiments battled for supremacy in the two-day tournament.
The Gemunu Watch Team carried away the Championship Honours and The Gajaba Regiment Team were the worthy Runners-Up
The Chief Guest, The Colonel of the Regiment and Commander of the Security Forces (Mullaitivu), Major General LBR Mark RSP USP ndu, awarded trophies to all prize winners.
