The tribute ceremony for the Gemunu Watch victorious unbeaten shooting Champions of Sri Lanka Army Inter Regiment Combat & Practical Shooting Competition - 2022 was held on 15 October 2022 at the Regiment Centre the Gemunu Watch. The Colonel of the Regiment Major General AC Lamahewa WWV RWP RSP graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
Both shooters and coaches of the Gemunu Watch who represented the victorious firing team were tributed and the Colonel of the Regiment and Council members, Centre Commandant along with Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks of the Regiment were presented in the event. The Colonel of the Regiment extended his gratitude with honour for to the shooters and coaches.
As highlighted by the Colonel of the Regiment the firing team of the Gemunu Watch continues with the momentum with spirit, added much valued contribution towards the dignity, pride and fame to the Regiment and insisted to provide all requisites for further improvement of their skills to be more consistent with optimum results.
The tribute ceremony was concluded followed by a group photograph and a lunch at the Regimental swimming pool site expressing gratitude to all contributed to the fame and honour of the Regiment.
