The tribute ceremony for the Gemunu Watch victorious shooting Champions of Sri Lanka Army Inter Regiment Combat shooting Competition - 2023 was held on 11 December 2023 at the Regiment Centre the Gemunu Watch. The Colonel of the Regiment Major General SWB Welagedara RSP VSV USP ndc graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
The shooters of the Gemunu Watch who represented the victorious firing team were tribute with Colonel of the Regiment, Centre Commandant and Deputy Commandant along with Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks of the Regiment were presented in the event. The Colonel of the Regiment extended his gratitude with honour for to the shooters and coaches.
As highlighted by the Colonel of the Regiment the firing team of the Gemunu Watch continues with the momentum with spirit, added much valued contribution towards the dignity, pride and fame to the Regiment and insisted to provide all requisites for further improvement of their skills to be more consistent with optimum results.
The tribute ceremony was concluded followed by a group photograph and a lunch expressing gratitude to all contributed to the fame and honour of the Regiment.
