With the concept of the incumbent President, Mrs. Geetha Chandrasiri and members of the Seva Vanitha Branch of the Gemunu watch conducted essential school items donation programme for 247 students who belong to military and civil families. Moreover, due to the Covid-19 pandemic situation this programme was planned conduct for few stages according to their living province. The third stage of the scheduled programme was organized by 5th battalion the Gemunu Watch and held at Green Paradise Hotel Wellavaya on 30th January 2022.
This donation was donated to 54 students of who belongs to “Ranaviu” and Civil workers Families of the Gemunu Watch. Concurrent to this event, The 8 years old and presently disabled daughter of Sgt Ghanarathna WM was donated with a wheel chair. For this donation Financial assistance given by Mrs Muntaz Hamidon. Moreover Worth of Rs 150,000 Laptop was donated to L/Cpl Pushpakumara's daughter. Donation was coordinated by Mrs. Mali Kulasekara.
President and Members of the Seva Vanitha Branch, Col of the Regt, Major General PML Chandrasiri WWV RWP RSP ndu, Senior officers, Officers and other Rankers of the Gemunu Watch were participated for this event.
