TAKING OVER OF THE DUTIES OF NEW COL OF THE REGIMENT
Maj Gen PUS Vithanage RSP has assumed the duties as the Col of the Regt of the Gemunu Watch on 21 May 2014 after the retirement of Major General LBR Mark RSP USP ndu.
A Guard turnout and a Ceremonial Parade with Regimental Colours ware awarded to the incoming Col of the Regt. A Family members of Maj Gen PUS Vithanage and large number of Senior Officers of the Regiment participated with their spouses to mark the event.
All Officers and Other Ranks of the Gemunu Watch wish all the success to Major General PUS Vithanage RSP in his all future endeavors.
