SRI LANKA FLEXES MUSCLE AT ASIAN BODY BUILDING TOURNAMENT
Representing Sri Lanka at the 47th Asian Body Building Championship Tournament, S/427317 Lance Corporal M.W.R Jayasundera of the 6th Battalion the Gemunu Watch won silver in the 55 kg weight category. The prestigious international tournament was held in Kazakhstan.
Lance Corporal Jayasundara came second in a keenly fought competition beating 22 other bodybuilders from Asian nations. A Gold medal was secured by Wasantha Peiris of Wattala Atlas Sports Club in the 55 kg category.
