The Seva Vanitha Branch of the Gemunu Watch organized a donation campaign for needy school children at Vivegananda School at Nonperial Estate in Balangoda. A library was built at the school and provided necessary books for the school. Few games were organized for the entertainment of the school children. After awarding prizes to the winning students and they were served tea and lunch. Furthermore, Two pair of spectacles worth of Rs 30000.00 were donated for two children.
The Honorary Chairperson of the Seva Vanitha Branch of the Gemunu Watch, Mrs. Manori Welagedara, members of Seva Vanitha Branch and children of their families were present. The Colonel of the Regt of the Gemunu Watch and General Officer Commanding 51 Infantry Division Major General SWB Welagedara RSP VSV USP ndc, Centre Commandant Brig WBJK Wimalaratne RWP RSP, Senior Offrs, Offrs of the Gemunu Watch were participated for the event.
