The monthly meeting of the Seva Vanitha Branch of The Gemunu Watch (SVBGW) was successfully held on 03 October 2025 at the Officers’ Mess, Regimental Headquarters of the Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps, Werahara. The event was attended by the President, Dr. (Mrs.) Dilrukshi Wimalaratne, along with senior members of the Seva Vanitha Branch.
The meeting was presided over by Dr. (Mrs.) Dilrukshi Wimalaratne and commenced with an informative lecture titled “Beauty Care Needed for Everyday Life”, conducted by Saloon Lochi.
Following the lecture, the monthly meeting proceeded with its regular agenda. During her address, the President outlined the branch’s upcoming plans and welfare projects, as well as the directives received from the Sri Lanka Army Seva Vanitha Unit. She also emphasized the importance of continuing welfare initiatives aimed at improving the well-being of both military personnel and their families.
The meeting concluded on a positive note, fostering unity and renewed enthusiasm among members. The President expressed her appreciation for the continuous dedication and support of all members, encouraging them to work collectively toward future welfare goals and the continued success of the Seva Vanitha Branch of The Gemunu Watch.
