The Gemunu Watch, being a conspicuous Infantry regiment of Sri Lanka Army organized its Senior Non Commissioned Officers’ Dinner Night on 26 June 2020 at the regimental centre Paradise Hall in accordance with present health guide lines as per the regimental event calendar.
The Dinner Night is one of a glamorous event in the Army. A total numbers of 100 island-wide serving Gemunu SNCO’s were presented for the function. The aim of this event is to develop the organizing capacity and Cohesiveness of the SNCO’s of Gemunu Watch also to preserve the regimental customs of the Army. The Commander Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force, Commander Army Training Command and Colonel of the Regiment the Gemunu Watch Major General TS Bangsajayah RWP RSP VSV USP ndu, graced the occasion as the Chief guest, and he was warmly welcomed by regimental RSM and SNCO’s of the Gemunu Watch.
Further, a limited number of Officers were presented including Adjutant General, Major General BVDP Abeynayake USP ndu, Director General Infantry Major General SADAD Gunawardane RWP RSP and Commandant (CEO) Ranaviru Apparel Major General WS Rajakaruna USP. Moreover, The Centre Commandant, Deputy Centre Commandant, few Senior Staff Officers and few Commanding Officers also participated to the Dinner Night.
