RHQ BATTALION THE GEMUNU WATCH CELEBRATES ITS 20TH ANNIVERSARY
RHQ Battalion The Gemunu Watch celebrated its 20th anniversary with participating all officers and other rankers on 18 September 2013.
Before the day of anniversary, religious ceremony was conducted in Sabaragamuwa Maha Saman Dewalaya at Rathnapura. On following day to Commemoration events commenced with tributes to the War Heroes at the war heroes monument and evening time for the occasion of anniversary was comprise with Bodhi Puja.
On the anniversary day the Commanding Officer of RHQ Battalion The Gemunu Watch, Lt Col SMW Bandara was accorded with a Guard Turnout at Regimental Head quarters followed by his address to All Ranks and All Ranks Lunch at battalion premises.
