NEWLY PROMOTED MAJOR GENERAL’S VISIT TO THE HOME OF PEACOCKS ON 24TH SEPTEMBER 2013
After being promoted to the rank of Major general, Maj GeneralPUS Vithanage RSP visited to the Regimental Centre on 24th September 2013
On his arrival to the Home of Gemunu Watch Brigadier MASK Muhandiram RSP, the Centre Commandant of Gemunu Watch received Maj General PUS Vithanage RSP and a guard turn out was inspected at main entrance. subsequently Maj General PUS Vithanage RSP was accompanied to the parade ground. There he received a parade comprised of Regimental Colours, commanded by Maj P Weerakkodey RSP. Afterwards he commemorated the fallen war hero’s by laying a flora wreath at the monument. Accordingly Major General PUS Vithanage RSP joined the Council Members and many Officers at the officers mess to have lunch.
