MONTHLY EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETINGOF THE GEMUNU WATCH EX- SERVICEMEN\'S ASSOCIATION
Monthly Executive Committee Meetingof the GWESRA was held on 28 August 2016 at the Gemunu Regimental Centre Kuruvita with the participation of GWESRA President Brig Hiran N Halangode (Retired) RWP RSP USP and executive members of the association. The members were welcomed by the staff of the Regimental Centre at the main entrance to the Kuruvtacamp and were conducted in procession to the Regimental Monument where a wreath laying ceremony was conducted in memory of the gallant servicemen those who paid the supreme sacrifice in the fight against terrorism and in the defense of our motherland.
The Executive Committee Meeting commenced immediately after the memorial ceremony and lasted for nearly four hours. Many decisionwere taken during the meeting. After the meeting the members werehosted a lunch at the poolside.
