MAJOR GENERAL WBDP FERNANDO RWP RSP USP psc FELICITATED AT THE REGIMENTAL CENTRE
Major General WBDP Fernando RWP RSP USP psc who promoted to the rank of Major General after rendering a valuable service to the Sri Lanka Army as well as to the motherland was felicitated at the Regimental Centre of The Gemunu Watch on 28 Feb 2016 . A ceremonial parade was accorded to him witnessed by many senior officers, officers and other ranks of the Gemunu Watch.
After the ceremonial parade Major General WBDP Fernando RWP RSP USP psc participated for floral tribute conducted at the war memorial at the camp to remember all fallen heroes. A grand tea party was organization at swimming pool site.
Later he was welcomed to the Officers’ Mess . Finally Maj Gen Fernando was presented with a memento to mark the occasion.
