S/419929 Cpl Wickramasooriya KGJS 8 GW and S/423431 Cpl Kumarasiri PDAP 6 GW won the gold and bronze medal of the world defense Para swimming meet held at Paris in France from 02 Feb to 06 Feb 2015. This is the first time Sri Lankan disable war heroes recorded historical win defeating swimmers by 18 countries. They not only kept the Gemunu flag high but also the flag of country and Sri Lankan Army as well.
