Under the guidance of Mrs. Manori Welagedara, the Honorary Chairperson of the Gemunu Watch Seva Vanitha Branch and with the contribution of the members of the Seva Vanitha Branch, scholarships were awarded to the children of officers and other ranks of the Gemunu Watch who passed the Advanced Level examination on 19 October 2023 in order to appreciate their remarkable achievements.
Subsequently, school books were provided to encourage the children who are going to appear for the Ordinary Level and Advanced Level examinations in the year 2023/2024 and to succeed in their educational activities.
Moreover, those students and Other Rankers in this Regimental Centre were connected to an awareness lecture about the law and prevention from the use of drugs, which is very valuable in order to succeed in their lives through spiritual development, and they were given tea and lunch.
