The partly constructed house of S/422371 Corporal Niroshan Kumara MKH who was wounded in action whilst engaged in the battle field of northern theater, was completed by troops of 6th Battalion the Gemunu Watch, and this project was funded by Seva Vanitha branch of the Gemunu Watch.
The fully completed house was handed over to the family of Corporal Niroshan Kumara during a ceremony ,held on 27 January 2022 under the patronage of Mrs Geeetha Athukorala, the president of Seva Vanitha Branch of the Gemunu watch with the participation of its vice President Mrs Ruwani Lamahewa and the members of Gemunu Watch Seva Vanitha Branch.
Brigadier Priyantha Nawarathne Commander 582 Infantry Brigade, officers and other ranks of the Gemunu Watch also took part in this occasion.
