The annual Bodihi Pooja Pinkama was organized by the Gemunu Watch Seva Vanitha branch on the 15th January 2022 at the premises of the Regimental Headquarters the Gemunu Watch. The event was apprehended to memorialize the war heroes who laid their precious lives and made the supreme sacrifice and those who are missing in action whilst safeguarding the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the motherland. Furthermore, the blessing of the triple gem for the Seva Vanitha members and injured war heroes, service officers, other rankers, and civil workers of the Gemunu Watch regiment were taken. The Pinkama event was led by the incumbent president of the Gemunu Watch Seva Vanitha branch Mrs. Geetha Chandrasiri and the vice-president Mrs. Ruwani Lamahewa with the participation of members of the Seva Vanitha branch.
