GEMUNU TROOPS CONTINUE WITH RELIEF ITEMS DISTRIBUTION PROGRAMME

The Gemunu troops are continuing with their assistance to people who are affected during recent past flood and landslip areas in Rathnapura District with the support of the Ven. Maha Sanga Thero and Rangiri Sri Lanka Media Network. The Rangiri Dambulu Media Network liaises with Director of Media Sri Lanka Army organized relief items distribution programme to help affected families at Karangoda village of Alapatha AGA Division on 15 June 2017.\r\n\r\n The Deputy Director General of Ragiri Sri Lanka Media Network, Secretary of Rangiri Dambulu Partial and Incumbent of Rangiri Dambulu Uyanwaththa TempleVen Daniyagama Ananda Mahanayaka Thero, Directors of Rangiri Sri Lanka Media Netwark Mr. Anurada Rohana Kapukotuwa and Janith De Silva and Staff of Rangiri Sri Lanka Media Netwark brought relief items including school books, stationary items, dry rations packets, and sanitary items from Dambulla. During the programme relief items donated among 250 affected school children and 126 affected families at Karangoda village . The troops of 8 Battalion of the Gemunu Watch coordinate with the Rangiri Sri Lanka Media Network. \r\n
