The Tuberculosis awareness programe was conducted by Dr Gamini Gunawardena, Chest Clinic Rathnapura and Officer of the District Tuberculosis Prevention to mark the world Tuberculosis day on 24 Mar 2017 at Regimental Lecture Hall premises.
Dr Gamini Gunawardena was declared a valuable lecture on subject matter from 0930 hrs to 1330 hrs for 05 Officers and 150 Other Rankers. The lecture was composited of history of the Tuberculosis, beginning of Tuberculosis, Good Health attitudes and publicity of diseases and lecture was a good standard as per the feedbacks of audience. Other than, awareness programe members, Dr HBS Kumarasiri General Hospital Rathnapura, Puplic Health Inspector Rathnapura Mr LGPJK De Silva participated too for the event.
