The Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage RWP RSP ndu, made a visit to the Regimental Headquarters the Gemunu Watch after opening ceremony the troops-built special ramp for the handicapped and devotees with special needs in Ratnapura Sri Sumana Saman Devalaya premises on Sunday 23 July 2023 morning amid a distinguished gathering of invitees.
The Commander of the Army was warmly welcomed by the Centre Commandant, Brigadier WBJK Wimalaratne RWP RSP, at the Regimental Headquarters. This occasion was made colourful with the presenting of special mementos to the Army Chief. Prior to his departure, the Commander of the Army penned a few complimentary remarks and a few thoughts in the visitors' book.
