On February 23, 2024, the president of the Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs. Manori Welagedara, presided over the 25th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Gemunu Watch at the Paradise Auditorium in the Regimental Centre. The other members of the branch made the event even more remarkable by providing a beautiful entertaining secession.
Major General S W B Welagedara RSP VSV USP ndc, Colonel of the Gemunu Watch Regiment and General Officer Commanding, 51 Infantry Division, as well as other senior officers, attended the event. Furthermore, he has addressed all females, particularly newly married members, and expressed gratitude for their tireless efforts in welfare aid for soldiers and their loved ones.
At the conclusion of the AGM, members were treated to a valuable session on the theme of Personnel Grooming with a Makeup Guide, which was led by Mrs. Dulani Sisira Kumari, a well-known beautician in Rathnapura, followed by a raffle draw to provide valuable prizes to members.
