ACHIVEMENTS OF HIGHLANDERS DURING INTER REGIMENT COMBAT SHOOTING COMPETITON-2018

Inter Regiment Combat Shooting Competition was organized by Sri Lanka Army Small Arms Association (ASAA) and it was held from 26 Oct 2018 to 01 Nov 2018 at Diyathalawa firing Range. The shooters of the Gemunu Watch were able to continue the regency of shooting competition

The meet was conducted mainly in two categories as open and novices with the participation of 20 regiments including Teeth, Support and Service arms in the SL Army. Whole achievements of highlanders shooters as follows.

Finally with the guidance and dedication of the Colonel of the Regiment, Centre Commandant and Advisor of the Regiment Firing Team, Highlanders were able to achieve the open meet trophy. Deputy Chief of Staff (DCOS) and Col of the Regiment of the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment Major General A Kariyakarawana USP ndc grace the prize giving ceremony as the chief guest.
