18TH CONTINGENT OF SRI LANKA BLUE BERETE READY TO LEAVE SRI LANKA
The passing out parade of the 18th Sri Lankan contingent of United Nation Peace Keeping Mission to Haiti (MINUSTAH) was held at Regimental Headquarters Kuruvita on 11 September 2013.
Maj Gen LBR Mark RSP USP ndu Commander SFHQ (Mulathive) and Col of the Regiment of the Gemunu watch graced the occasion as the chief Guest. Centre Comdt and Senior officers of the three services were presented.
The contingent commander , Colonel AADNSP Dunuwila RWP RSP of Gemunu Watch commanded the Parade. 54 officers and 708 Other Rankers of Sri Lanka Army, 2 officers and 42 Sailors of Sri Lanka Navy, 2 officers and 42 Airmen of Sri Lanka Air Force are included in to this contingent . 18th contingent of SRIBAT is going to be served there at Haiti for six months .
