Soldiers of the 17th Gemunu Watch (17 GW) in Kayts island on the Vesak Full Moon day offered soft drinks at Dansala to all who crossed the island to Nagadeepa (Nainathivu). They had organized Dansala at three places in the island, Punguduthiv, Karampan junction and Velanai.
Thousands of pilgrims and people living in those areas got their thirst quenched at Dansalaorganized by the 17 GW soldiers.
