Districtwise Breakdown of Positive Cases Announced-NOCPCO

As of this morning (26), 793 more COVID- 19 positive cases have been reported during last 24 hours. Of them, the majority (226) was from Colombo district, including 23 from Moratuwa, 19 from Piliyandala, 16 from Avissawella, 15 from Kaduwela and others from different areas.

Moreover, 82 positive cases reported from Gampaha District included 9 from Kirillawla & Muththumagala areas, 4 from Delgoda & Horampella areas and the rest from different areas in the district.

Similarly, 71 more cases were reported from Kurunegala District in the past 24 hours. Of them, 44 cases were from Pannala, 4 from Thulhiriya, 3 cases from Kobeyigane and Kuliyapitiya areas. Other positive cases were from else in the district.

Accordingly, 414 cases reported from other districts of the country were as follows: 61 from Matale, 52 from Kalutara, 45 from Moneragala, 44 from Galle, 30 from Badulla, 28 from Puttalam, 22 from Vavuniya, 14 from Ampara, 11 from Anuradhapura, 10 from Polonnaruwa, 9 from Trincomalee, 8 from Matara, 6 from Kegalle and Jaffna, 4 from Kandy, 3 from Nuwaraeliya & Ratnapura Districts, 2 from Batticloa, 1 positive case from Mullathivu, 1 from Mannar and 1 from Kilinochchi districts, states the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).
