As of this morning (14), a total of 226 more persons were confirmed positive to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. 41 Sri Lankan expatriates and 185 of those positive cases are locally-identified ones, including the majority 51 from Colombo District, 33 from Kurunegala District, 24 from Jaffna and 77 others from different Districts, states the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).
By this morning (14), a total of 95,619 persons, inclusive of 90,870 of the fish market and Minuwangoda Brandix cluster have been confirmed positive to COVID-19 from all over the country, including the dead. 91,925 fully-recovered COVID-19 patients have been so far discharged from hospitals and the rest 3,092 are still under treatment in hospitals and care centers.
In the past 24 hours, 151 recovered patients have left hospitals and care centres.four deaths have been reported during in the past 24 hours. Accordingly, the COVID-19 death toll in the country remains as 602 by this morning (14).
As of this morning (14), 10,353 persons in 104 tri service-managed QCs are still in quarantine. Within yesterday (13) 3,764PCR tests have been conducted.
