SFHQ- West Commander Evaluates the Status Quo in His Area of Responsibility

Preventive mechanism, precautions and strategies that should be further adopted to stem the spread of COVID-19 virus in Colombo and elsewhere in the region were discussed at the Security Force HQ-West office at Panagoda Army Cantonment on Thursday (20).

Major General Vikum Liyanage, Commander, Security Forces-West presided the meeting, attended by Senior Officers of under Command establishments and the Army cantonment.

Developments in specific areas as well as detection of new positive cases, practical modalities, treatment procedures and current strategies were closely evaluated and lapses rectified during the discussion.
