No New Positive Cases Reported - NOCPCO

The Flight No UL 1710 from Madagascar with 291 passengers arrived and Flight No UL 102 from Mali with 275 passenger and Flight No UL 607 from Australia with 50 passengers will arrive in Sri Lanka today (21). All of them will be sent to Quarantine Centres (QCs), managed by tri services for necessary quarantine process, a statement issued this morning (21) by the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) stated.

418 individuals after completion of the quarantine process at Hotel Dolphin (13), Citrus Waskaduwa (15) Hotel Blue Water (34), Shelton Hotel Kosgoda (34), Hotel Eaden Garden (235), Ranweli Hotel (86) and Hotel Anarva (01) will leave for their homes today (21) after conduct of PCR tests and with Quarantine Certificates.

By Sunday (21), a total of 15,553 quarantined individuals from tri service-managed QCs have left for their homes. As of now, 3,756 persons are in quarantine in 39 island-wide QCs, run by tri services.

By this morning (0600 am), no COVID-19 positive cases were reported. Similarly, 26 individuals, 14 overseas-based Sri Lankans and 12 heroic sailors after recovery left hospitals today (21), the statement ended.
