More Sri Lankans to Arrive Here - NOCPCO

The Flight No UL 1026 from Chennai with 150 passengers and Flight No UL 1042 from Mumbai with 44 passenger arrived and Flight No UL 504 from London with 59 passengers will arrive in Sri Lanka today (20). All of them will be sent to Quarantine Centres (QCs), managed by tri services for necessary quarantine process, a statement issued this morning (19) by the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

335 individuals after completion of the quarantine process at Pompemadu (72), Hotel Eaden Garden (235) and Hotel Mount Lavinia (28), will leave for their homes today (20) after conduct of PCR tests and with Quarantine Certificates.

By Saturday (20), a total of 15,411 quarantined individuals from tri service-managed QCs have left for their homes. As of now, 3,634 persons are in quarantine in 42 island-wide QCs, run by tri services.

By this morning (0600 am), 03 more COVID-19 positive cases were reported. All of them were overseas-based Sri Lankans including an Indian national who arrived here.

Similarly, 25 individuals, 16 overseas-based Sri Lankans and 09 heroic sailors after recovery left hospitals today (20), the statement ended.
