More GN Division Released from Isolation - NOCPCO

As of this morning (27), a total of 1,665 more persons were confirmed positive to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. Among them, 12 were Sri Lankan expatriates. The rest 1,653 were locally-identified positive cases, including the majority 293 from Kalutara District, 273 from Colombo District, 268 from Gampaha District and 819 others from different Districts, states the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

By this morning (27), a total of 298,180 persons have been confirmed positive to COVID-19 from all over the country, including the dead. Among them, 188,722 were reported after the New Year.

By Tuesday (27) morning (past 24 hours), 1405 recovered patients have left Intermediate Care Centers and Hospitals. On 25 July, 48 more deaths have been reported including 30 males and 18 females.

As of Tuesday (27), 3,591 persons in 67 hotels and tri service-managed QCs are still in quarantine. By Tuesday (27) morning, 771 persons have left 17 QCs after completion of their quarantining process.

By this morning (27), Pimburu Section in Kekulanda GN Division in Agalawatta Police division in Kalutara District, Pothuvil 13 Section in Kalmunai Police Division in Ampara District and Karadiyanawathgama in Thunbowila (North) GN Division in Piliyandala Police Division in Colombo District were completely released from isolation.
