As of this morning (13), a total of 263 more persons were confirmed positive to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. 38 Sri Lankan expatriates and 225 of those positive cases are locally-identified ones, including the majority 67 from Colombo District, 27 from Kurunegala District, 22 from Kegalle and 109 others from different Districts, states the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).
By this morning (13), a total of 95,393 persons, inclusive of 90,745 of the fish market and Minuwangoda Brandix cluster have been confirmed positive to COVID-19 from all over the country, including the dead. 91,774 fully-recovered COVID-19 patients have been so far discharged from hospitals and the rest 3,021 are still under treatment in hospitals and care centers.
In the past 24 hours, 144 recovered patients have left hospitals and care centres. No deaths have been reported during in the past 24 hours. Accordingly, the COVID-19 death toll in the country remains as 598 by this morning (13).
As of this morning (13), 10,845 persons in 103 tri service-managed QCs are still in quarantine. Within yesterday (12) 3,044PCR tests have been conducted.
