Commander Spells Out Status Quo on Fight against COVID-19 as Head of NOCPCO

Popular ‘ITN, Swarnavahini, Hiru and Derana’ TV commentators after communicating Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva, Chief of Defence Staff, Commander of the Army and Head of the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO), on Friday (17) interviewed him on the status quo as regards the ongoing isolation process for villages, community responsibilities, quarantine tasks, detection of positive victims in Quarantine Centres, conduct of PRC tests and diagnosing work, and prognosis for coming weeks, etc. NOCPCO Head explained how positive developments are taking place and what else is left to be done in the coming days.
