A TV discussion in ‘Swarnawahini’, telecast on Monday (30) evening with the participation of the popular Dhamma preacher, Ven Mawarale Bhaddiya Thero, Head of the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak, Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva and Secretary to the Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA), Dr Haritha Aluthge covered a wide range of current concerns, health practices, law and order, nature of the outbreak, preventive roles, national commitments, etc and the need to rise unitedly against its transmission.
