571 More Persons Leave Quarantine Centres - NOCPCO

As of this morning (25), a total of 1,737 more persons were confirmed positive to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. Among them, 30 were Sri Lankan expatriates. The rest 1,707 were locally-identified positive cases, including the majority 330 from Colombo District, 236 from Gampaha District, 156 from Kaluthara District and 985 others from different Districts, states the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

By this morning (25), a total of 294,849 persons have been confirmed positive to COVID-19 from all over the country, including the dead. Among them, 185,557 were reported after the New Year.

By Sunday (25) morning (past 24 hours), 957 recovered patients have left Intermediate Care Centers and Hospitals. On 23 July, 52 more deaths have been reported including 26 males and 26 females.

As of Sunday (25), 3,828 persons in 63 hotels and tri service-managed QCs are still in quarantine. By Saturday (25) morning, 571 persons have left 23 QCs after completion of their quarantining process.
