512 Brigade troops Disinfect Jaffna Town

17 Gemunu Watch, 14 Gajaba Regiment and 512 Brigade Troops of the 51 Division on the directions of Major General Priyantha Perera, Commander, Security Forces-Jaffna, together with guidance given by the General Officer Commanding, 51 Division, 512 Brigade Commander and respective Commanding Officers on Thursday (12) carried out a thorough sterilization project in the heart of Jaffna town with the objective of curtailing the speedy transmission of the deadly virus among the general public.

Accordingly, the Central Bus Stand, Railway Station, Public Market, Bazaar area, KKS road, Jaffna Teaching Hospital premises, general crowded areas, playgrounds and government office compounds were disinfected and thoroughly cleaned by Army troops under this sterilization project.
