As of this morning (11), a total of 2624 more persons were confirmed positive to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. The majority of 551 are from Gampaha District. Among them were 120 from Divulapitiya, 63 from Seeduwa, 58 from Katana, and 51 from Minuwangoda, states the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).
Similarly, 362 positive cases were reported from Kalutara District including 67 from Panadura south, 62 from Panadura, 43 from Bulathsinhala and 31 from Matugama.
Meanwhile, 321 patients were reported from Colombo District, including the majority 50 from Piliyandala, 35 from Talangama and 32 from Colombo area and others from different areas in Colombo.
Accordingly, in the past 24 hours, 1234 patients were reported from Colombo, Gampaha and Kalutara Districts. Other 1390 patients were reported as follows: 177 from Kurunegala, 170 from Galle, 19 from Matara, 39 from Kegalle, 23 from Badulla, 13 Ampara, 83 Anuradhapura, 36 from Trincomalee. 1 from Mullaitivu, 184 from Nuwara Eliya, 50 from Kandy, 128 Ratnapura, 46 from Puttalam, 109 from Jaffna, 26 from Matale, 22 from Kilinochchi, 54 from Polonnaruwa, 41 from Hambanthota, 92 from Monaragala and 26 from Baticoloa.
