2429 More Confirmed Positive to Virus in Past 24 Hrs - NOCPCO

As of this morning (13), a total of 2429 more persons were confirmed positive to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. The majority of 413 are from Colombo District. Among them, were 146 from Piliyandala, 24 from Narahenpita, 19 from Thalangama and 16 from Mount Lavinia, states the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

Similarly, 370 positive cases were reported from Kalutara District including 88 from Panadura south, 74 from Horana, 44 from Baduraliya and 28 from Moragahahena.

Meanwhile, 332 patients were reported from Gampaha District, including the majority 87 from Biyagama, 39 from Katunayake and 30 from Kelaniya area and others from different areas in Colombo.

Accordingly, in the past 24 hours, 1115 patients were reported from Colombo, Kalutara, and Gampaha Districts. Other 1314 patients were reported as follows: 140 from Matara, 136 from Kurunegala, 132 from Badulla, 128 from Galle, 123 from Kandy, 119 from Puttalam District, 107 from Matale,78 from Ratnapura, 71 from Ampara, 41 from Trincomalee and Hambantota Districts,34 from Jaffna District, 29 from Nuwara Eliya District, 24 from Anuradapura,16 from Monaragala District, 15 from Batticaloa,11 from Polonnaruwa,9 from Kegalle,8 from Kilinochchi and Vavuniya Districts and one person from Mullaittivu District.
