10,515 persons in 105 tri service-managed QCs Still in Quarantine - NOCPCO

As of this morning (21), a total of 367 more persons were confirmed positive to COVID -19 in the past 24 hours. 22 Sri Lankan expatriates and 345 of those positive cases are locally-identified ones, including the majority 94 from Colombo District, 54 from Gampaha District, 43 from Kurunegala District and 154 others from different Districts, states the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

By this morning (21) a total of 97,471 persons, inclusive of 92,422 of the fish market and Minuwangoda Brandix cluster have been confirmed positive to COVID-19 from all over the country, including the dead. 93,546 fully-recovered COVID-19 patients have been so far discharged from hospitals and the rest 3,300 are still under treatment in hospitals and care centers.

In the past 24 hours, 173 recovered patients have left hospitals and care centers. Five more deaths have been reported in the past 24 hours. Accordingly, the COVID-19 death toll in the country remains at 625 by this morning (21).

As of this morning (21), 10,515 persons in 105 tri service-managed QCs are still in quarantine. Within yesterday (20), 9.431 PCR tests have been conducted.
