1042 Persons after Quarantining Leaves Centres - NOCPCO

As of this morning (26), a total of 1,876 more persons were confirmed positive to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. Among them, 16 were Sri Lankan expatriates and one foreigner. The rest 1,859 were locally-identified positive cases, including the majority 378 from Colombo District, 347 from Kalutara District, 176 from Gampaha District and 958 from different other Districts, states the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

By this morning (26), a total of 249,925 persons have been confirmed positive to COVID-19 from all over the country, including the dead. Among them, 143,708 were reported after the New Year.

By Saturday (26) morning (past 24 hours), 1,843 recovered patients have left Intermediate Care Centers and Hospitals. 48 deaths have been reported including 26 males and 22 females on 24 June 2021.

By Saturday (26) morning, 1042 persons have left 27 QCs after completion of their quarantining process. As of this morning (26), 8,389 persons in 72 hotels and tri service-managed QCs are still in quarantine.

By this morning (26) at the time this communiqué was released, 9 Police Divisions and 356 GN Divisions have been released from the isolation and 61 GN Divisions are still under isolation including 4 new GN Divisions that came under isolation.
