CLOSING CEREMONY OF THE LOGISITICS STAFF COURSE NUMBER 9

Closing ceremony of Logistics Staff Course No 9 was held at the Army School of Logistics on 9 December 2023. This memorable occasion was graced by the Commandant ASL, Col Y K S Rangika psc ptsc, Chief instructor, Senior Instructors, Members of the faculty and the permanent staff.

The Logistics Staff Course No 9 commenced on 2 January 2023 and culminated on 13 December 2023. 35 Student Officers including 32 Officers from Sri Lanka Army, 2 Officers from Sri Lanka Air Force and one Officer from Nepali Army respectively enrolled to follow the course No 9. The Graduation Ceremony of the course is scheduled to be held on 13 December 2023.

Delivering the Closing Remarks, the Chief Instructor ASL, Col GTS Silva USP QLCO Lsc ATO explained the core values of being respectable logisticians while highlighting the main objective of this course is moulding the middle grade officers of Armed Forces to function as potential logistics planners to consummate the country’s administrative and logistics requirements.

The Commandant ASL, Col Y K S Rangika psc ptsc during his closing address, emphasized that the Student Officers have accomplished the objectives of their course and advised them to continue with improving their professional qualities and wished them well for their future endeavors. The Commandant also expressed his gratitude to all staff lead by the Chief Instructor for their utmost dedication and commitment. And congratulate the Student Officers and wish them for progression and sustained success in their careers.
