THE LADIES CLUB OF LOGITICS STAFF COURSE NUMBER 9

The inaugural meeting of the Ladies Club 2023 of the Logistics Staff Course (LSC) No 09 was held on 17 July 2023 at the Army School of Logistics (ASL) with the participation of the spouses of Faculty Members, Permanent Staff and Student Officers of the ongoing Logistics Staff Course.

The President of the Ladies’ Club Mrs Amarapali Batuwanthudawa graced the occasion as the chief guest and she was warmly welcomed by Mrs Prathiba Walikanna and Mrs Nipuni Nambugoda.

Capt PH Sahabandu SLAWC delivered the Welcome Speech briefing on the importance of this significant event. Capt NA Senanayake SLAWC briefed the history of the Army School of Logistics to the gathering.

The event also included with a Motivational speech by the President of Ladies Club explaining the importance of giving support to the spouses who are following the LSC No 9 at ASL. Further, she encouraged the spouses to be more interactive and improve their way of thinking as “Military Wives”. She also expressed her best wishes for the newly appointed committee of the Ladies’ Club 2023.

Finally, Mrs Harshani Hettiarchchi thanked all ladies presented at the Ladies Club followed by a Tea was served to bestow a memorable evening for all ladies to mingle with one another.
